Nathaly Charrette

Since graduating from the Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Montreal in 1994, Nathaly has worked on various dramatic and comedic shows for television. On stage, she starred in Jane Dark (Brecht) at Le Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in Montreal. Since her arrival in Ottawa-Gatineau, she starred in Larmes fatales, JF cherche hommes désespérément, Le désir and la Cousine germaine for Théâtre de l’Île. She played in Les sept péchés capitaux des petits bourgeois and Légendes de crapaud for Compagnie Vox Théâtre. She performed in L’Inconception for la Vielle 17 and she starred in Couteaux, Isolons-nous, Gustav, Silence en Coulisses and Le bout du monde for Théâtre du Trillium, as well as in Rage directed by Joël Beddows for Théâtre de la Catapulte. Moreover, Nathaly performed in À la défense des moustiques albinos; a co-production between Théâtre de la Vieille 17 and Québec’s Théâtre Sortie de Secours. She recently completed a tour in Les Fridolinades by Gratien Gélinas directed by Perry Schneiderman; a co-production with Théâtre la Catapulte and the French Theatre in Toronto. She worked with Kevin Orr for the first time in 2007 on Projet Rideau at the National Art Centre, and Bifurcate me at the Wildside festival 2012, in Montreal. Over the years, Nathaly has also received funding from the Ontario Arts Council for her own theatre projects.
